- President Trump to impose 10% tariffs on $200B of Chinese goods — and it will go up to 25% at the end of the year. China are said to be preparing a 'response team'
- Fed's Rosengren said short-term US interest rates should be lifted toward neutral levels, need to be 'concerned about financial excesses'. Keeping borrowing costs too low could allow an overheating jobs market that would encourage excessive risk-taking.

Mr Khan said the referendum should offer voters the choice of staying in the EU against any deal the government manages to strike - or against a "no-deal" Brexit if an agreement cannot not reached.
- Theresa May has told the BBC that MPs will have a choice between her proposed deal with the EU - or no deal at all.
- Britain’s economy would face a “significantly worse” outlook if the country leaves the European Union next year without a deal than if it reaches a Brexit agreement, the International Monetary Fund said on Monday.
