Market Focus this Morning...
- Bank of England interest rate-setter Ian McCafferty said on Tuesday it was reasonable for financial markets to expect a couple more small rate hikes over the next two years.
- Tesla shares were halted pending announcement as talk circulated that Musk was looking to bid $420 to take the company private, with the stock trading $340 yesterday.
- CNH made advances on reports that the PBoC may 'vigorously defend Yuan if USDCNY nears 7', gaining as the session wore on, also benefiting from reports the PBoC had met with Chinese banks and urged them to refrain from herd behaviour.
- Goldman & Morgan Stanley raise US economic outlooks, The new projections put GDP above 3 percent for the year, a number in line with the Trump administration's hopes.
