-US Stocks finish slightly higher, but big GE losses cap gains. Market sentiment has been on edge as of late. Investors are wondering whether the government will get tax reform done at all this year.
-U.S. government debt yields varied on Monday, as investors grew worried the GOP tax plan may not be finalized before year's end. The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note sat lower at around 2.398 percent.
-Sterling fell against the dollar and euro on Monday as investors worried about Theresa May's ability to stay on as British prime minister and get what they consider to be a good exit deal from the European Union.
